Why Refinish

Same layout, same boxes, a completely different look

If your cabinet boxes are solid but the finish looks dated, replacement is usually more than the problem calls for. Refinishing changes the color and finish without tearing out anything that still works.

FAQ

Cabinet refinishing questions

How long does cabinet refinishing take?
It depends on the number of doors and drawers and the condition of the existing finish. We'll give you a specific timeline in your written estimate.
Do I need to empty my kitchen?
You'll need to clear the cabinets themselves, but the rest of the kitchen can stay in place. We work around what's left and protect it while we do.
What's the difference between refinishing and replacing?
Replacing means new boxes and doors, which costs more and takes longer. Refinishing changes the color and finish of your existing cabinets, usually for a fraction of the price.
Can you match a specific color or finish?
Yes. We'll talk through color and sheen options during your estimate and help you land on something that fits the kitchen.
What's your warranty?
Yes. Roca's Painting provides a one-year workmanship warranty covering application-related issues such as peeling or improper adhesion. Normal weathering and deterioration of the underlying surface are excluded.
